Founded in 1953 as United Cerebral Palsy of Lackawanna County, today UCP of NEPA provides an array of services for ALL ages, ALL disabilities. Although we have expertise in the field of cerebral palsy, over 75% of the people receiving our services have disabilities other than cerebral palsy.
The service area of each program differs but our overall area encompasses Lackawanna, Susquehanna, Wayne, Wyoming, Pike, Bradford Counties.
The agency is licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and is a member of United Cerebral Palsy Association, United Cerebral Palsy of Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania Association of Resources: Autism-Intellectual Disabilities (PAR), and the National Lekotek Center.
Our services and our service area have changed over the years, but our commitment to providing quality services that make a positive difference in the lives of persons with disabilities has never changed and never will.
